Ingredients
Spicy Fish Fry Ingredients:
- Fish - 1 lbs. ( 2- inch pieces - Any of these fishes will work Salmon, Cod, Tilapia)
- Black Pepper - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Garlic Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Corn Starch - 2 Tbsp
Dry Seasoning Mix:
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Black Pepper - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 2 tsp
Tempering Ingredients:
- Jalapeno - 1 medium (chopped)
- Onion - 1 medium (chopped)
- Garlic - 4 -5 cloves (minced)
- Oil for Frying

Instructions
1) In a bowl add the 2-inch pieces of fish, 1/2 tsp salt,1 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp garlic powder and 2 tbsp corn starch. Mix, make sure all the spices and corn starch is well coated on each fish piece. Marinate for 10-15 minutes.
PRO TIP: Use a clean white fish such as Tilapia, Cod, Pom-fret, or Halibut.
2) Chop 1 jalapeno, 1 medium onion and 4-5 cloves of garlic & set aside.
3) Heat oil for frying, place fish pieces carefully in the oil.
4) Fry fish until lightly golden brown and fully cooked & set aside.
PRO TIP: Fry fish in batches and make sure not to overcrowd the pan.
5) In a small bowl add 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper and 2 tsp sugar.
6) Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan, add chopped garlic, onion and jalapeno, sauté for 2 -3 minutes.
7) Add fried fish to a bowl, add dry seasoning and tempering, toss everything together.
8) Garnish with green onions before serving.
