Falsa Sharbat – Indian Sherbet Berry Drink – Falsa Juice Recipe

Ingredients
Falsa Berries - 2 cups (fresh or frozen)
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Black Salt (kala namak) - 1/4 tsp
Black Pepper - 1/4 tsp
Ice - 2-3 cups
Water - 3-4 cups
Mint Leaves - garnish

Instructions
1) In a blender, add 2 cups of frozen or fresh falsa berries, 3/4 cup of sugar, and 2- 3 cups of water. Blend together for 1-2 minutes until everything is broken down and smooth.
PRO TIP: Feel free to adjust the amount of sugar based on your liking and the sweetness of the fruit.
2) Using a strainer, strain the falsa mixture to remove all the seeds.
3) Once all the seeds are removed, pour the stained mixture back into the blender.
4) Next, add 1/4 tsp kala namak (black salt), 1/4 tsp black pepper, 2-3 cups of ice, and another 1 cup of water. Blend again for 1 minute.
5) Pour into glasses, add a few more ice cubes and garnish with a few mint leaves.
6) Enjoy this refreshing drink on a hot summer day!
