Ingredients

½ cup oil

1 tbsp cumin seed

1 cinnamon stick

1 bay leaf

1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

1 green chili

½ cup onion (chopped)

1 tbsp cashew powder

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tbsp turmeric powder

1 tbsp chili powder

½ cup yogurt

½ cup tomato puree

1 cup paneer (sliced into small pieces)

2 tbsp heavy whipping cream

Salt as needed

½ cup water

1 tsp kasuri methi

Cilantro for garnishing

Instructions

1) In a heated oil pan, add cumin seeds, cinnamon stick and bay leaf and stir for a few minutes.

2) Add green chili and ginger garlic paste and saute for a couple minutes.

3) Add onions and saute until golden brown.

4) Add salt, cashew powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chili powder and mix well. Add water as needed. Cook for a few minutes.

5) Add in yogurt and tomato puree and stir well. Let this mixture cook for about 10 minutes.

6) Once the gravy is made, add the paneer and kasuri methi and cook for about 2 minutes.

7) Dish out the Paneer Masala and add heavy whipping cream on top.

8) Garnish with cilantro.
