Seviyan Bars (Vermicelli Dessert Bars)

Ingredients
2 Packets of Crushed Vermicelli (150 grams per packet; the vermicelli will need to be crushed)
6 TBSP Ghee
4 Cardamom Pods
1/3 cup of chopped almonds
1/3 cup of chopped pistachios
1/3 cup of desiccated coconut
1 Cup of Condensed Milk
Once the vermicelli (seviyan) has turned golden brown, add chopped almonds, pistachios and desiccated coconut and stir for about few minutes. Add condensed milk and mix evenly. Sprinkle the remaining almonds, pistachios and desiccated coconut on top.
Instructions
1) Heat up the pan and add ghee.
2) Once the ghee is warm, add the crushed vermicelli with cardamom pods and stir on medium to high heat for about 10-12 minutes. Make sure you keep stirring as the vermicelli can easily burn.
3) Once the vermicelli has turned golden brown, add ¼ cup chopped almonds, pistachios, and desiccated coconut and stir for about few minutes.
4) Add condensed milk and mix evenly.
5) Add the mixture into a pan and spread evenly.
6) Sprinkle the remaining almonds, pistachios and desiccated coconut on top.
7) Cut the vermicelli mixture into squares and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
