How To Make Sprouted Moong Dal:

1) In a bowl, rinse and soak 1 cup of whole moong dal for at least 6 hours or overnight.

2) Once soaked, drain and rinse the mung beans one more time.

3) Place the moong dal in a mason jar, cover with a damp paper towel or cheesecloth, and place the mason jar ring back on the jar.

4) Place the jar upside down and slanted in another bowl for 2-3 days until you see the dal sprouting.

PRO TIP: The longer you leave them in the mason jar, the longer the sprouts will be. If you want longer sprouts just leave them in the mason jar a day or two longer.
