Instructions

How to Make Tandoori Shrimp Skewers:

1) To start, peel, de-vein and clean 20 large raw shrimp.

2) In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the ingredients for the tandoori marinade: 2 Tbsp mustard oil, 1/2 tsp garam masala powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder, 1 tsp tandoori masala powder, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp green chili paste, 1 tsp salt, and red food color (optional).

3) Next, add 2 Tbsp lemon juice and 2 Tbsp yogurt to the spice paste and mix well.

4) Add the clean shrimp to the tandoori marinade and mix to coat well.

5) Marinate them for at least 30 minutes or more.

6) When you’re ready to grill, skewer the marinated shrimp with wooden skewers.

PRO TIP: Feel free to add veggies like bell peppers and onions. Get creative!

7) If cooking on a grill, drizzle a little bit of mustard oil over the tandoori shrimp skewers before placing on the grill. Place skewers on the hot grill and cook on each side for 2-3 minutes.

8) If cooking on a grill pan or frying pan, add 2 Tbsp of mustard oil to the pan over medium heat. Once hot, place the skewers on the pan and cook on each side for 2-3 minutes.

How to Make Cheesy Masala Corn on the Cob:

9) In a small mixing bowl, add 6 Tbsp of melted unsalted butter, 2 tsp garlic powder, 2 tsp chili flakes, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp chat masala, 2 Tbsp lemon juice, and 2 tsp salt. Set aside.

10) Next, remove the husks from 4 ears of fresh corn.

11) On a grill or grill pan, grill the fresh corn over medium heat, rotating often for an even cook.

12) Once grilled to your liking, brush the masala butter over the corn generously.

13) If grilling, place your favorite cheese on top of each cob and close the lid until the cheese melts.

14) If using a grill pan, transfer the grilled corn to a baking dish, and place your favorite cheese on top of each cob. Broil in the oven until the cheese melts.
